We support and fund activities and initiatives that support children and adults to boost their education, skills and aspirations. Having the right skills can help people to better understand money, use technology to manage their finances or gain confidence to take part in their community. Much of our work is centred around social mobility, working to ensure that someone’s job and income isn’t tied to where they started in life.
In supporting the financial inclusion of our customers, our work goes beyond the responsible and sustainable products and services we provide to them. We also develop useful resources suitable for all age ranges to develop their knowledge and skills. We’ve worked with a number of partners, including the National Literacy Trust and National Numeracy to build resources which can help boost everyday maths skills, support adults to to help children with learning at home and provide key information on the latest research in these fields.
